Hypermarkets (Pingo Doce, Modelo, Intermarché) are open from 09.00 - 21.00 Monday - Saturday and
09.00 - 13.00 on Sundays.
If you are arriving outside these hours you may find it convenient to order a food pack. These are
designed to provide a light supper, breakfast the following morning and basic essentials.
They all contain: matches, washing-up liquid, bread, butter, cheese, ham, eggs, jam; fruit, tea,
coffee, milk, sugar; salt & pepper; soft drinks, water, wine and beer.
The amounts vary according to the number of people.
